210302 - Radio engineering

The department of the RE and RS (the oldest one in the university) prepares engineers specializing in radio engineering, since 1965.

Radio engineering is the scientific and technical sphere which includes research engineering, intended for the creation and support of functioning of devices and the systems which based on using of electromagnetic fluctuations and waves. Devices are intended for transfer, reception and processing of the information about environment, natural and technical objects, to influence natural or technical objects to manage their behavior or changes of their properties.

The best students undergo training in foreign countries (the USA, Germany).

At the full-time department there is three-level training going according the plan "the bachelor - the engineer - the master", and at the correspondence department students get the base engineering education.

210301 - Radio physics and electronics

The department of the RE and RS has been training students at the classical university speciality "Radio physics and electronics" since 1997. The radio physics and electronics is the area of human activity providing progress in technique and technologies at the expense of creation and introduction in practice devices in which physics advanced achievements are used for the solving problems of applied character at the joint of radio physics, radio electronics and other spheres of a science and technique.

During the last years in the University the engineer-radio physicist is trained the chosen specialization within the speciality:

• Telecommunications and communication;
• Medical electronics;
• Systems of protection of intellectual property;
• Radio physical methods of diagnostics of environments.

210405 - Radio communication, broadcasting and television

- This speciality trains engineers of a wide profile for development and operation of the radio transferring, radio reception and television centers, recording halls, broadcasting complexes, radio communication systems, installation of radio and service radio, including digital satellite systems of a radio communication and broadcasting, cellular communication system, on the basis of using the newest computer technologies, programming languages, and fundamental knowledge in the field of microelectronics, digital processes of processing of information signals, MULTIMEDIA-technology, the theory of electric chains, the theory of telecommunications, electromagnetic compatibility and computer control systems of land and space radio services, management in the field of radio systems, broadcasting and television.
